“From Prevention to Empowerment: The Contribution of the Psychological and Counseling Support Center & the Equal Access Unit of Democritus University of Thrace to the Public Health and Social Welfare Week of the Region of Eastern Macedonia & Thrace”

The Psychological and Counseling Support Center & the Equal Access Unit of D.U.Th. participated in the actions of Public Health Week, in collaboration with community organizations and with the support of the Region, highlighting the importance of prevention, psychosocial empowerment and equal access to health.

Through five actions, bridges of communication and cooperation were created, leaving a positive impact on the university and local community and laying the foundations for new initiatives that will continue to promote equality and empowerment.

The active presence of students, teachers, pupils and citizens highlighted the value of prevention, information and cooperation for health as a collective responsibility.
