Online Psychological Support and Stress Management Groups – Summer Action

The Psychological and Counseling Support Center (KEPSYSY) and the Equal Access Unit (EAU) of Democritus University of Thrace are organizing online psychological support groups for students during the summer.
Each group will hold a total of six (6) meetings: four (4) during the month of July and two (2) during the month of August.
The groups will be small, with the participation of 6–8 people.
Stress can act as a driving force, but it can also become an obstacle to responding effectively to the demands of everyday life.
Managing stress requires recognizing its sources, understanding the role it plays in our lives, as well as connecting it with our self-image and personal history.
Within the Group, in a safe and supportive environment, we will focus on understanding stress and giving meaning to our experiences.
The aim is emotional empowerment, the search for effective ways of self-support, self-care and relief from unpleasant symptoms.
To participate in one of the groups, please complete the participation form, use the QR code on the poster, or contact us by phone at 2510 462411, by June 30.
No previous experience of participating in similar groups is required.
Before the meetings begin, an interview with the psychologist will take place in order to establish the framework of cooperation.
