Frequently Asked Questions
Students of first-, second- and third-cycle study programmes, as well as all other members of the University Community, have the right to use the services.
The services provided are free of charge.
The Psychological and Counseling Support Centers are staffed by psychiatrists, psychologists and social workers.
KEPSYSY actions are coordinated by its Scientific Committee (SC). The SC is established by decision of the Senate of DUTH and consists of five (5) faculty members with relevant expertise in psychiatry, psychology and social work. The SC is coordinated by a faculty member of a corresponding specialty, who has the scientific responsibility for the operation of KEPSYSY.
- Individual and group counseling
- Organization of seminars and workshops with an experiential and interactive character
- Implementation of prevention and awareness-raising actions on mental health issues
- Encouragement and participation in socialization actions and volunteer initiatives
- Cooperation with community organizations
There are no specific criteria for using the service.

Using all the communication methods mentioned above — by phone, by email, or by sending a message to our Facebook page — as well as by completing the volunteer form and participating in training activities, workshops and talks organized specifically for volunteers.
The personal data collected and processed by KEPSYSY are only those that are necessary for each specific and clearly defined purpose and for the respective legal basis.
In this context, the processing that takes place concerns the personal data you provide to KEPSYSY when completing an application or registering, such as:
- Identity Data
- Contact Data
- Health Data
In all cases where consent is required, KEPSYSY follows the procedures provided by law for obtaining it.
You retain the right to withdraw your consent at any time.
Your personal data are collected in accordance with the GDPR and the applicable national legislation, either at the beginning of your relationship with KEPSYSY or at a later stage, and are processed on the following legal bases:
- Your consent, when you seek support from KEPSYSY.
- The performance of a task carried out in the public
interest, as well as compatible lawful processing for archiving purposes
in the public interest, for scientific research purposes or for
statistical purposes.
