Psychological and Counseling Support Center of Democritus University of Thrace.
The Psychological and Counseling Support Center (KEPSYSY-DUTH) of Democritus University of Thrace was established by Senate Decision No. 5/97/16-11-2023.
It began operating in 2023 and its mission is to provide psychological and counseling support services and to prevent mental health problems among members of the university community, especially students of first-, second- and third-cycle study programmes.
The services of KEPSYSY-DUTH are provided free of charge.

The Psychological and Counseling Support Center of D.U.Th. stands by students in all cities where Democritus University of Thrace operates: Komotini, Xanthi, Alexandroupoli and Kavala.
With the aim of ensuring equal access to psychological and counseling support services, KEPSYSY-DUTH offers the possibility of communication and service regardless of the city of study, strengthening the mental well-being and academic progress of every member of the student community.
Volunteering
Volunteering is a meaningful way to participate in the university and local community. Through actions of solidarity, information and social contribution, students have the opportunity to collaborate, develop new skills and contribute positively to issues that concern society.
KEPSYSY-DUTH encourages active participation, cooperation and the cultivation of a culture of care and mutual support. Volunteer actions create opportunities for communication, socialization and meaningful contribution, while also strengthening the sense of belonging to the university community.
