The Second Learning Cycle for the Teaching Staff of Democritus University of Thrace, entitled “Opening the Dialogue on Equal Access at Democritus University of Thrace”, was successfully held on Friday, May 22, 2026.

The action was organized by the Equal Access Unit and the Psychological & Counseling Support Center of D.U.Th., in collaboration with the Teaching & Learning Support Center of D.U.Th., as a continuation of the First Learning Cycle for teaching staff.

During the meeting, a particularly meaningful and open dialogue was developed around issues related to equal access to university education, the needs of male and female students, as well as the everyday role of the instructor within the educational process.

Of particular value was the active participation of the members of the teaching staff, the questions raised, the experiences shared and the reflections developed during the discussion. Through the exchange of views, experiences and good practices, a shared space for reflection was created around teaching, the support of male and female students and the possibilities for strengthening accessibility in the university environment.

The Second Learning Cycle highlighted the importance of cooperation and networking between the teaching staff and the University’s support structures.
