On Saturday, February 15 10:00–14:00 and 15:00–19:00

will implement informational actions on more effective access of persons with disabilities to cultural activities.

The actions will be hosted in Alexandroupoli, in Room 4 of the Department of Primary Education.

They will focus both on better service for persons with disabilities in cultural spaces, such as monuments, museums, exhibitions, etc., and on the requirements for their more effective participation in cultural activities.

The actions are addressed to persons responsible for organizing cultural events, cultural organizations, employees in cultural spaces, students in related fields, as well as anyone else who may be interested.

The organizer is the Civil Non-Profit Company ALL – Accessible Limitless Living, in collaboration with the Equal Access Unit of D.U.Th., the Psychological and Counseling Support Center of D.U.Th. and the School of Education Sciences of D.U.Th.

Indicatively, the following topics will be presented:

– Models & prejudices regarding disability, Disability and Art.

– Service for persons with mobility impairment & accessibility of cultural venue infrastructure.

– Service for persons with visual impairment.

– Service for persons with hearing impairment.

– Service for persons with intellectual disability.

The same topics will be presented in both cycles.

Cultural activities will also be presented by the theatre group of the Department of Education Sciences in Early Childhood “Kivotos Oneirou” and the Frida Kahlo Theatre Workshop.
