On 16/09/2025, from 12:00 to 14:30, in a space of the Law School building on the University Campus, the Psychological and Counseling Support Center (KEPSYSY), together with the Equal Access Unit (EAU), in collaboration with the Department of Social Work of Democritus University of Thrace, invited social care organizations active in the Komotini area to a meeting.

The aims of the meeting were to create a network of services, to provide information about the operation of the two University services, and to exchange views on possible ways of cooperation for the benefit of the student community and the local community.

The services responded to the invitation and presented their work. Ways of cooperation among the organizations were explored, and it was agreed that networking among all organizations is necessary and that such meetings should take place on a regular basis.

The next meeting was scheduled for November, when an experiential workshop on conflict management and mental resilience will be held.
